Keywords Matter

Page Content Optimization

Google and the other search engines look at the content on your website’s pages and try to determine if that is what a person is searching for when they type words into the search bar. It’s important to make sure the search engines can easily understand what you page is about, without ‘stuffing’ the page with terms you’d like to be found for.

Like most aspects of your site, there needs to be research done to determine the best keywords to try and rank for with the search engines. These keywords should then be used in your website copy.

On-Page SEO Process

Pretty much everything related to SEO needs to start with keyword research. We’ll look at the keywords you are currently ranking for, as well as other keywords or phrases that you should try and rank for. After this, we’ll present this data to you along with our suggestions.

We do a deep website audit for each client to uncover all of the content and technical items that need to be addressed. We’ll provide you with an audit report and go over it with you, so that you can get a better understanding of some of the work that will need to be done.

After finishing the keyword research and audit, we’ll build a plan that will include both short term and long term objectives. Our plan will be broken down into different phases and each phase will build upon the previous. Our goal is to get everything laid out in front of you, so that there will be no surprises.

Pretty simple…. we get to work. From our research discovery, we’ll initially get started with the On-page SEO work. We’ll give you some options regarding the website and/or blog copy, as you may want to do some of this in-house.

We’ll also test your site on different browsers and mobile devices to make sure it looks and performs well on everything.

We’ll test your site for mobile responsiveness on a number of different screen sizes to make sure that your pages look good, no matter what device is being used. Along with that, we’ll run tests to make sure the code is displaying properly for the search engines.

Monitoring your site for performance and functionality is an ongoing process that we perform. Updates to plugins or the content management system (WordPress) can sometimes alter elements of the code that can mess up the on-page SEO work. We’ll monitor your site for changes and test regularly.
